A Victorian School
In the classroom are there only boys or girls or both ? Around the wall the children have drawn pictures on slates - what are the pictures of ? How are the children sitting ? Are the boys sitting together and the girls all together or are the children mixed ? What type of lighting do they have in the picture ? How many children are there in this Victorian classroom ? How many teachers are there ? What does it say on the blackboard ? Think about how this classroom is different to your classroom. Think about whether you would like it in a Victorian class.
