This is similar to Sledging but the person on the parachute stands up, pretending to be skating on ice. The others hold the ends of the parachute and drag it along the ground.

The skater controls the speed by giving suitable commands, and is responsible for calling “STOP” should he/she fall and for controlling the speed of the parachute. Those pulling the parachute should be alert to carry out directions carefully and gradually in order not to unbalance the skater.
