Take just one of the dice. Place the parachute flat on the ground. The single die is thrown onto the parachute. The teacher calls out a command such as, “Add the number on the die to the number of the section it lands on.” Or the children can be told to “Multiply them”, ”Keep a running total”, “Take the smaller number from the larger”.

Change the person throwing the die each turn and ask the person on his/her right hand side to give the answer.
