The teacher will need to collect about 20 items for this game and then place them under the parachute without anyone else seeing what they are.

The children will then stand around the edge of the parachute holding on to the edge with both hands making sure that the parachute is lying on the floor.

The teacher will tell the children to lift the parachute and make it mushroom for about 10 seconds. The idea is then for all the children to look at all the items and try to remember them.

The parachute will then come down to the floor again and cover the items. The children remain standing around the edge and the teacher asks the class or individual children what the items were, they can have about 1 minute to list the items.

The children could use a pencil and paper or just call out the answers.

If the children need an extra peek then the parachute can be mushroomed again.
