This KS1 RE area is split into the major religions of the world; Christianity, Judaism, Islam, Hinduism, Sikhism and Buddhism.
Within each area children studying Religious Education at KS1 level are able to learn about the different Celebrations and Festivals, Religious Buildings, Signs and Symbols, Religious Figures and Religious Stories relevant to each religion. Their knowledge is enhanced and tested through a number of fun interactive activities and quizzes.
In the Christianity section of the Religious Education area KS1 learners are introduced to a number of Bible Stories such as Noah and his Ark, The Prodigal Son, The Three Wise Men, John the Baptist and Jesus Calls the Disciples.
This KS1 RE section also includes links to other interesting religion-related websites to enable children to carry out their own research to accompany their Key Stage 1 Religious Education studies. These include a website of Christian images, Christian resource websites, websites with religious art and photography and links to other RE resources suitable for Key Stage 1.
The resources and activities in the KS1 Religious Education section are in an interactive, online, or printable format that brings a differing dynamic to the subject for children studying at Key Stage 1.
