Classroom Key Stage 1/ KS1 - Art Activities & Resources
Welcome to the Art section of the Key Stage 1 classroom. This KS1 Art area helps children at Key Stage 1 level to develop their artistic talents.
To help children with Exploring and Developing Ideas there are a variety of interactive activities focusing on colours, sculptures, patterns, shapes and textures.
The Investigating and Making section includes an art studio, pictures to paint, examples of art elements and processes as well as other interactive art activities suitable for Key Stage 1 Art pupils.
Children are able to enhance their Artistic Knowledge and Understanding of famous artists, art history and art terms through fun and educational activities and online guides.
A section dedicated to Famous Artists introduces children learning Art at Key Stage 1 level to the work of artists such as Monet, Van Gogh, Isaac Oliver, Henri Matisse and Lois Walpole.
The resources and activities in the KS1 Art section are in an interactive, online, or printable format that brings a differing dynamic to the subject for children studying at Key Stage 1.
