You will need a hoop for this game, or more if you have a large group. All the players stand round the parachute, which is flat on the ground. Players hold hands.

Between two players a hoop is hung over their connected hands. They have to manoeuvre themselves so that the hoop passes over the body of one player and now hangs between the hands of one of the original players and the person they are holding hands with on the other side.

The idea is to pass the hoop all the way round the circle without letting go of hands.

With a large group, start another hoop half way round, so that they do not have so long to wait.

The game stops when the hoops arrive back to their starting position.

If you have two hoops of different sizes, play the game sending the hoops off in opposite directions from the same starting point. At some point they will have to cross by passing through one another.
