Sledging
In turn each person is given a ride on the “sledge”. The person receiving the ride, sits on the parachute halfway between the centre hole and the edge, with their feet pointing towards the centre hole. The rider calls out “GO” when ready and the “husky dogs” at the front pull the sledge along the ground as fast as they can. The sledge masters at the back hold the end of the parachute upright so that the rider’s head remains in an vertical position. The lead husky is responsible for calling “STOP” so that the sledge comes to a halt before hitting a wall or other obstacle.
