Parachute Activities Cross if…
Numbers are stuck to the parachute next to each child standing around the edge or could be stuck on individual children. The children hold up the numbered parachute and start to mushroom it. The teacher has a good number of questions ready, so that the game can keep going. When the teacher calls out a question the children mushroom the parachute. The child who answers the question runs, rolls, or bunny hops under the parachute to the other side. Questions all have numbers as the answer. The child with the correct number is the one to cross over. Questions can be like: The number of wheels on a car, Days in a week, Prime Numbers, Odd Numbers, Multiples of Three, Legs on one cow plus one man, The number of Blind Mice, Five plus Three.
