Parachute Activities Tent Switch Places

The children sit in a circle in the parachute tent (see parachute tent activity).
With this game the children can use their names or to make it more interesting use numbers or colours etc. If numbers are used then everyone is given a number or if colours are used then each child could wear a different coloured PE bib.
The teacher calls out two names or two numbers and these two children have to change places by running under the parachute tent and sit in the other person's place. They have to be quick to beat the other person. More names / numbers / colours can be called out as the children get used to the idea.
