This activity enables children to practise spelling words ending with the ee sound.

Words Ending in y and ey.

Read the words below. What sound can you hear at the end of the words?

All these words end in the ee sound but don't actually end in the letter e. Most words with this ee sound at the end are spelt with y or ey at the end.
