Through the Hoop
The parachute lies flat on the ground. The players stand round the edge of the parachute, leaving two panels clear on opposite sides of the parachute If necessary the players should be made to move closer together in order to keep these panels clear. The teams are chosen by the leader going round the parachute numbering the players, 1,2,1,2,1,2. Balls and bean bags are given to each player, one colour for each team The leader has a hoop and rolls it across the parachute from one open space to the other. The players try to throw their balls and bean bags through the hoop as it travels across. The number of successful shots are recorded and added up after five rolls of the hoop. |
