Alphabet Game
Classroom Keystage 2-PSHE - Parachute Activities - Less Active Parachute Games |
Alphabet Game
The children sit in the circle around the outer edge of the parachute. The idea of this game is to choose a category e.g. fruit, countries, towns, capital cities etc. One person starts the game by naming, for example, a fruit beginning with 'a' - Apple. The next person on the left thinks of an fruit beginning with the letter 'b' and on it goes. If someone cannot think of an answer or gets it wrong they have to sit in the middle of the parachute and wait there until another player gets stuck on an answer. To get the child in the centre out of prison they are asked if they have an answer for the child who just got it wrong. If they do they change places with each other. If they cannot think of an answer then both children sit in the centre. If someone in the centre can think of an answer then everyone would go back to their places. The game would finish when no-one can think of an answer and a new category can be thought of and the game can start again. |
